Leech & Worm Dumbell Rig

The Leech and Worm Dumbell Rig is a simple yet effective rig for presenting leeches or worms to catfish. The dumbell stops the bait from sliding down the hook and allows you to cast and retrieve the rig with ease. The running leger system allows the lead to slide freely on the main line, giving catfish no resistance to feel when taking the bait. When the fish moves off with the bait, the lead will slide down the line and the weight of the lead will help to set the hook. This rig is perfect for use in rivers, lakes and reservoirs when targeting catfish using natural baits such as leeches and worms.
